Agency for conceptual analysis, design and management "Concept" gladly congratulate Kaniv community which became the winner for the participation in the pilot project "First energy-balanced community of Ukraine"

We sincerely grateful to all communities for your interest in the project and appreciate the time and efforts that was spent to prepare materials submitted to the contest.

All application forms received by us were carefully reviewed and evaluated by impartial experts on energy efficiency and local development. Under the terms of competition the evaluation was hold on the major groups of indicators:
• formal assessment (presence of signature and seal, correctness and completeness of required data, the availability of required applications, etc.);
• the potential effectiveness of this project (the institutional and organizational capacity of communities to implement the project, the perception of the principles of energy and resource availability partnerships with neighboring communities, etc.);
• socio-economic potential of the project (economic structure and agricultural communities, existing mechanisms for managing energy sector of the city, etc.).

Among the 22 communities that applied for participation in this project, by rating compiled from the results of expert assessment, the community of Kaniv town won the first place.

We appreciate the efforts of all communities who participated in the competition and ready to help in other ways to implement energy conservation principles, responsible environmental management and sustainable development in your communities.

We invite you for further cooperation in other projects of our agency, as well as for the participation in seminars and conferences to be hold as a part of the "First energy-balanced community of Ukraine” project.
