Agency for Conceptual Analysis, Design and Management "CONCEPT" together with the Ministry of Housing and Municipal Economy of Ukraine announce a competition among local communities of Ukraine for the participation in the pilot project "First Energy-Balanced Community of Ukraine”.

Energy-Balanced Community – even for western Europe it's a new concept to generate the community's energy on its own territory (village, town, city, etc.). The balance between the energy consumed and the energy produced within the community is achieved exclusively from renewable energy sources of local origin. Several cities of Germany and Austria have introduced this approach. In 2009, with the assistance of the European community, one Hungarian city joint this approach. The call for local authorities of Ukraine for participation in the pilot project, "First Energy-Balanced community of Ukraine” is active now.
